Cnsl.tech (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Cnsl_ AI voice counsel platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service at cnsl.tech.
Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate Cnsl_:
- Account Data: Name, email address, and authentication credentials provided during sign-up (via Clerk).
- Dialogue History: Text transcripts of your conversations, stored to enable session continuity and history retrieval.
- Voice Input (Transient): Audio captured during voice-enabled sessions is transmitted in real-time for processing and is not permanently stored in its raw form (see Section 2).
- Usage Metadata: Basic analytics such as session duration and feature interactions, to improve service quality.
- Payment Data: Handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy (see Section 6). We do not store credit card or payment instrument details on our servers.
Voice Data Processing
Cnsl_ uses AI to process voice inputs in real-time to power its dialogue experience. Here is exactly how your voice data is handled:
Real-Time Processing Only
Voice audio is streamed securely over encrypted HTTPS connections to our speech-to-text provider (Deepgram) for live transcription. Processing occurs in-session and the resulting text transcript is what we store — not the raw audio file.
No Permanent Audio Storage
We do not permanently retain your raw audio recordings. Once a voice session ends, the audio stream is discarded. Only the text transcript of the conversation may be saved to your dialogue history if you have history enabled.
Encryption in Transit
All voice data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2+. We do not transmit audio data over insecure channels.
No Training on User Data
We explicitly commit to the following:
Our Data-Use Commitment:
- ✓Your voice recordings and dialogue transcripts are never used to train, fine-tune, or improve our AI base models or any third-party model.
- ✓Your personal data, usage patterns, and generated content are never sold to third parties for any commercial purpose, including advertising or analytics brokering.
- ✓Any AI inference performed on your inputs is conducted solely for the purpose of generating a real-time response for you within your active session.
How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect to:
- Authenticate your identity and maintain your account
- Deliver the core AI dialogue and voice counsel service
- Preserve your conversation history across sessions (where opted-in)
- Process subscription payments through our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy
- Send transactional emails (receipts, account notifications)
- Debug issues and ensure platform stability
- Comply with legal obligations
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers who are contractually bound to process it only on our behalf:

Payment Data & Merchant of Record
All subscription payments for Cnsl_ are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, sales tax collection, and refund management in compliance with applicable laws. We do not store, process, or have access to your full credit card, debit card, or other payment instrument details at any time. All payment data is subject to Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
We retain your dialogue history and account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@cnsl.tech. Upon verified deletion request, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Port your data to another service
- Object to certain processing activities

Cookies & Tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking cookies. Session cookies are automatically cleared when you close your browser.
Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of Cnsl_ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
